Description
The GUIRA project aims to provide VOJEXT with a customized graphical user interface (GUI) that meets the usability, functional, and aesthetic standards of VOJEXT, ensuring a high level of user experience and accessibility. During the GUIRA project, we will work closely with the VOJEXT team and other stakeholders (e.g., potential end-users and VOJEXT adopters) through an iterative interaction design process incorporating validated research and industry methods for boosting user acceptance and ergonomics, utilizing modern GUI assets, and providing a reliable information architecture.
The main objective of the GUIRA project is to design the graphical layer for the user interface that boosts user experience, ensures usability and accessibility, provides an aesthetically pleasant interaction interface, and meets the functional needs of the VOJEXT system. To accomplish this, GUIRA specifies a series of sub-objectives it must also meet.
First, GUIRA aims to deliver a detailed architecture design for structuring, categorizing, and organizing information to make it easy for users to interact and understand how the various content elements fit together. The design is logical and intuitive for users, aiming to boost the multiple aspects of user experience. Next, GUIRA seeks to provide a series of concept designs for VOJEXT GUI, implementing different visual representations, interaction schemes, etc. It adopts a user-centered approach with the active involvement of various stakeholders through an interactive and iterative process. Finally, GUIRA aims to enable the software generation of the different GUI elements through a detailed and intuitive graphical overlay description, boosting functionality and productivity and enhancing the overall user experience.
